Lightest Double Stroller
When searching for a lightweight double stroller weight and fold size are the most important aspects to take into consideration. When you are not using it, select a stroller that is simple to use and compact. This will allow it to store it in your car trunk and to navigate through airport security and foreign roads.
The best lightweight strollers have an easy, intuitive fold that lets them stand on their own. This reduces stress on the body of the parent. A few also come with a broad range of seating configurations and can accommodate infant car seat carriers.
Kolcraft Cloud Plus
Designed for the family traveling. Lightweight and compact, with the ability to fold in one hand. The front suspension and all-terrain wheels as well as the multi-position reclining seats can accommodate children weighing up to 50 pounds. Trays for parents and children with a large storage basket as well as three-tier canopy with peek-a-boo window for maximum sun protection.
The Cloud has one of the lowest scores on our quality tests due to its thin feel with hard plastic seats, and a design that seems outdated. It's also more expensive than other strollers with a lighter weight. This is a bad choice for those looking for a budget option.
It's not the tiniest stroller, but it has enough features that it is worth considering. The swiveling front wheels make it easy to maneuver on flat surfaces and it is able to jump over curbs with minimal effort unlike many other light strollers that drift off course when trying to do the similar thing. The Cloud's low, knee-high handle is a downside. It's not adjustable, and it's not adjustable. It's not a comfortable thing to push it with your legs hanging in the air like that and it's not helping that it's not padded.
In our tests, we found the Cloud to be easy to set up and open. It's a bit more complicated to close, however. You have to slide a slider, and then press a large white button for it to collapse. This can be a hassle if you are juggling children while you do it.
The Cloud comes with a tiny but spacious storage basket. It's big enough to fit the size of a large diaper bag. It's not the greatest width however, and you'll likely have to leave something inside to reach back to get it back. The Cloud comes with a parent tray and a child tray, each with two cup holders. Both are too narrow for larger bottles or cups.

Jeep Destination Ultralight SBS
Jeep Destination Ultralight SBS is an extremely lightweight, minimalist double stroller that's perfect for travel. It weighs just 18 pounds and is lighter than some single strollers. and can fold flat for easy transport and storage. It also features independently reclining seats and large all-weather SPF 50 sun visors that have large windows with peekaboos and under-seat storage bags. The visors can be adjusted to accommodate children of different heights. Additionally, it comes with one-step linked parking brake and is Disney-size approved.
The swivel wheels on the Jeep are also great for navigating over bumps and uneven surfaces. The stroller does not accept car seats, so your little ones should be at least six months old and have solid neck control to be able to ride in the front seat. The stroller has a three-panel sun canopy and each seat comes with a cupholder and snack tray.
Another stroller that is extremely light is the Valco Baby Snap Duo Trend. It's heavier than Kolcraft Cloud Plus, at 23 pounds. However, it's tinier and slimmer (26.5 inches wide!) and is packed with elegant details that make it perfect for travel. It's a simple fold, is very maneuverable and can fit in the overhead compartments of airplanes and trunks easily.
The Joovy Kooper X2 tri-folds and is ultralight, similar to the Summer Infant 3D Pac CS+ Double or Mountain Buggy Nano Duo. It's similar to Jeep Destination Ultralight SBS but has some key distinctions. It's also a little more expensive, but it has better maneuverability and has an extra sun canopy. It comes with a handy carrying strap and can accommodate children who weigh up to 44 pounds per seat.

Summer Infant 3D Pac CS+
If you're looking for a stroller that is light but packed with features look no further than Summer Infant 3D Pac CS+. It's not just lightweight at just 13 lbs but also comes with a ton of storage space, including cup holders for the parent and child and a sippy-cup bag for the child as well as a pocket for storage for parents and so on. This stroller can also fit the car seat of a child and features a brake that flips. This stroller is designed to grow with your child. It can be transformed from a baby stroller into a toddler stroller simply by attaching the car seat adapters (sold separately) and it's suitable for children aged 6 months and up.
Another thing to consider about this stroller is that it only has swivel wheels and doesn't have locking capabilities therefore it may not be the best option for rocky or hilly terrain. It is able to maneuver well on pavements, as well as other smooth surfaces, however, so it's still a great choice for most families.
This is one of the smallest and light double strollers, with all-size features. The quick-close feature allows you to fold it down with just one hand in seconds, and it's small enough to store easily in your trunk or garage. It can also be used as a travel stoller, and is compatible without additional adapters with most car seats.
Unlike most lightweight travel strollers like the Summer Infant 3D Pac CS+ features two seats that can accommodate up to 50 lbs per seat (100 lb total). The seats feature individual leg rests, as well as three-panel canopies that include an open-top sunvisor and a peekaboo window.
The seats are cushioned for your little one's comfort and have a 5-point padded safety harness that adjusts to three height positions. Each seat has an infant cushion that is ideal for infants. The cup holders for parent and child, the cellphone holder and the large storage basket will be adored by parents. The stroller comes with the Yoyo+ Board which transforms it into a tandem.
Joovy X2 Kooper
The Kooper X2 is an excellent option for parents looking for a lightweight double stroller that can accommodate two children. The sling-style seats are comfortable and provide the same amount of headroom, allowing kids to sit together. In contrast to other strollers that are side-by-side, the Kooper X2 offers a fully reclined seat that is an ideal spot to nap. Its recline feature is simple to use, but it's not a perfect flat. For double buggy , there may be a leg hanging in the reclined position. It also features a large canopy that we found to be more effective in blocking out the sun than other strollers in our best double strollers review.
The stroller is lightweight enough to to maneuver through door frames. This was an important issue with other strollers we have tested. It folds easily and the handlebars are close to the ground for easy transportation. The only downside is the small storage space. When it's full of kids' stuff it feels tight.
Joovy is a family-owned business that designs unique, functional and quality baby products. Their range includes unique bottles that we have reviewed in our best baby bottle review, fascinating strollers such as the Joovy Zoom X2 Double and a unique rain cover that fits many popular strollers. The company's products are reasonably priced and often come with fun designs that draw children.
During our lab tests of double strollers, we evaluate various factors to determine how simple a model is to use, such as how easy it is to set up and fold and adjust the safety harness as well as close and open the brakes, raise and carry the folded stroller like you would put it into a trunk of a car and then install and remove an infant car seat (if appropriate). We also assessed the durability and strength and also whether each product has a parent tray which can accommodate both child trays.
The Joovy Kooper X2 earned the highest score for its ease of use in our latest update of the top double strollers guide, as well as one of the highest scores in our Strollers test program overall. Its user-friendly design features one-hand recline that is tilt-free and a canopy that rotates to the side for shade, and features a mesh for ventilation that you can see through when it's tilted. There are also individual child trays that have built-in cup holders, zipper pockets for parents, and an extra-large storage basket.
